Evesham Planning Board Approved Affordable Housing

Evesham Planning Board unanimously OKs 325 Marlton Crossing apartments over residents' objections
A new 325-unit residential development, including a mix of market-rate and affordable apartments, along with a parking garage adjacent to Marlton Crossing Shopping Center received unanimous approval from the Evesham Planning Board on Thursday night.

The project, approved in a 9-0 vote, is part of the township’s ongoing redevelopment efforts and contributes to Evesham’s affordable housing requirements. Of the total units, 49 will count toward the township’s obligation, with 25 designated for residents with special needs and 24 set aside as affordable housing.

The redevelopment will replace the existing Marlton Crossing Garden Offices, located between Old Marlton Pike, Centre Boulevard, and Lippincott Drive.
